Mr. Dominic Holt currently advises both Government and the Private Sector on the procurement and financing of major infrastructure projects, latterly in the Power and Utilities sector. His focus is on low carbon power generation (including waste to energy), but has also advised across the transport and health sectors.
He started his career as a civil engineer for engineering consultancy Arup. During this time he advised clients on planning, designing, managing, procuring and financing landmark infrastructure projects. Since concentrating more on the procurement and financing aspects of infrastructure projects, Mr. Holt has advised on a number of landmark deals including the largest waste to energy plant in the GCC, and a first of its kind renewables programmes in MENA.
Mr. Holt regularly presents on infrastructure financing, with particular reference to Public Private Partnerships and the issues associated with first of a kind mega deals.
